Academic Requirements

• Relevant significant experience or engagement in a medical laboratory / pharmacy / clinical setting.

• WASSCE with C or min. 6 credits in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and English.

• A Levels: Min. 3 subjects with a C in Biology, Chemistry, and either Math or Physics.

• 10+2 / INTER: Min. 60% in Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics, and English.

Additionally, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Verification of good health and ability to meet Essential Functions as required of the profession.

• Documentation of Immunizations.

• Personal health insurance.

Non - Academic Requirements

Sensory / Observational Skills:

Candidates for admission must be able to observe demonstrations and participate in laboratory or clinical experiments and practices as required by the program of interest.

Physical and Motor Skills:

Candidates for admission must have sufficient motor function to operate / manipulate and maintain a microscope and/or microtome and other laboratory equipment.

Communication Skills:

Candidates for admission must be able to communicate in English and medical terminology in oral and written form to faculty, staff, colleagues, other health care professionals, patients and visitors.
